We pride ourselves at Keystone Local School District in being fiscally responsible. Our expenditure per pupil (EPP) in FY15 was $8,978.42.  Using the most recent information available by the Ohio Department of Education, the statewide average expenditure per pupil (EPP) in FY15 was $10,984.86 while the average EPP for districts our size was $9,426.03.  We are well below both the state average and districts our size and that exemplifies our dedication to making wise financial decisions.

We have invested $ 50,556.31 on new equipment for our high school weight room. Of that, $ 25,000 will be reimbursed by the Lorain County Health Department, $7,369.98 will be reimbursed from the KEY Collaborative and $1,996.25 was reimbursement from our health care consortium, Lake Erie Regional Consortium (LERC). The remaining amount was paid from the profits from the online auction held earlier this year at the Liberty Street building. We purchased our new weight room for our students, faculty and community members without expending general fund money!
